In spite of being one of the giants of American pottery, the Phil-Mar Corporation is a little-known manufacturer. They seldom marked their products with anything other than fragile foil labels, making identification difficult. This small "running deer" design has been identified as a Phil-Mar by a former employee, and was made in several colors. It was sold both as a TV lamp and a table lamp, the raised flat area on top used to mount the fixture. The ability to easily convert production between the two styles was designed into the lamps of several companies.
The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs, and crazing, usually found on these, is minimal. It is 5" tall by 10" wide.
